JERRIE’S SCISSORTAIL ARTS ART SHOW AND SALE, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 4 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 5, Great Hall at Fin and Feather Resort on Lake Tenkiller. Admission to the show is free and open to the public. Information: Sue Barber, treasurer, 457-5533.

TIGER ART GALLERY, booths, Sept. 3 to 5, Cherokee Heritage Center; Sept. 4, Cherokee Courthouse Square; and Sept. 3 and 4, the Cherokee Cultural Grounds, for the powwow. Activities are part of the Cherokee National Holiday in Tahlequah.

OPEN STUDIO, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays, Muskogee Art Guild, 315 Court St. It is open to artists of all levels and mediums, ages 17 and up. Bring your own supplies and projects. Instruction available to beginning painters. Information: 683-4200, or Liz Wells, 682-4259.
