ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DAV BENEFIT BREAKFAST, 7 to 10 a.m., third Saturday of the month, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, 4815 W. Okmulgee Ave. Cost: $5, adults; $2, children under 12. Menu: Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, coffee, milk and juice. Proceeds directly support local Disabled American Veterans and their families.

BBQ CHICKEN DINNER FOR TERRY RIDENHOUR in conjunction with the Ranch Rodeo, 4 p.m. Aug. 4, Tahlequah Rodeo Arena. Cost: $5. CASA CANDLELIGHT DINNER AND AUCTIONS, featuring Richard Hight, a visual artist and inspirational speaker, 6 p.m. Aug. 10, First United Methodist Church, Wagoner, 308 E. Church St. Tickets: $30 per person and available at First Methodist in Wagoner, First National Bank in Coweta or the CASA office in Muskogee. Hight’s keynote performance brings art, music and the spoken word together and will create an original artwork set on eight foot canvas choreographed to selected pieces of music. Proceeds benefit abused and neglected children of Wagoner and Muskogee Counties. Information: 918 686-8199.

BEAN BENEFIT DINNER, 6 p.m. Aug. 24, Okay Area Senior Center, 3701 E. 75th St. North, Okay. Menu: Beans, cornbread, fried potatoes, cole slaw and drink. Cost: $6 per person. Live music, silent pie and cake auction. All money raised will benefit the Okay Area Senior Center’s operating costs. Information: (918) 682-0255 or (918) 360-1235.

KICK UP YOUR HEELS, Aug. 25, Oriental Masonic Lodge, 8 a.m., 6th and Boston streets. There is a $10 minimum sponsorship to walk. Event is a fundraiser for WISH to raise awareness of domestic violence. Men across the community will be asked to put on their high heels and walk in a fight to end domestic violence. Prizes: Top Fundraising Individual, Top Fundraising Team, Largest Team Walking, along with many other awards including best decorated shoe. Information: (918) 682-7879.
