— “THE MUSIC MAN,” Aug. 10-11, Muskogee Little Theatre, 325 Cincinnati St. When fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill comes marching into town, it means trouble in River City. “The Music Man” is family entertainment at its best. Advance tickets available at Soundworld, 125 E. Okmulgee Ave. Tickets are $14 for adults and $10 for students. “SORDID LIVES” AUDITIONS, 7 p.m. Aug. 12-13, Muskogee Little Theatre, 325 Cincinnati. The cast calls for six adult women and six adult men. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Director is Martha Cherbini. The play is a hilarious exposé of small-town Texas life, full of love, loss, and big hair. Production dates are Sept. 28-Oct. 6 and is sponsored by Rotary Club of Muskogee and presented with the assistance of the Oklahoma Arts Council.
