The Vagina Monologues is an award winning, controversial theatrical piece created by V-Day founder/playwright, Eve Ensler and based on her interviews with over 200 women. “THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST,” April 12-14 and 19-21, Armory Municipal Center Auditorium, 100 N. Water Ave., Tahlequah. Tahlequah Community Playhouse, Inc. presents the show written by Oscar Wilde, directed by Sandra Becker and Patsy Clifford. The play is a farce; a highly exaggerated comedy. Tickets: $25 for dinner theater and $15 for show only tickets. Doors open and dinner is served at 6:30 on Friday and Saturday performances and doors open and dinner is served at 1 p.m. on Sunday performances. The play starts an hour after dinner. Show only patrons should arrive at 7:15 p.m. on Friday and Saturday performances and at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday performances. Tickets may be purchased at Morris-Cragar Flowers, A Bloom, Cherry Berry or at www.tcpok.com. Show only tickets are available through cast members or at the door.
