MASONIC LODGE FUND RAISER, community breakfast, 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Checotah Masonic Lodge 86, lodge building, 625 W. Gentry Ave., Checotah. A $5 donation welcome. Proceeds will benefit several Masonic projects. Information: 473-6878.

BENEFIT FISH FRY, 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Porum Fire Department. It will benefit the Porum volunteer fire department and Masonic Lodge 351. There will be food and music.

ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BREAKFAST, 7 to 10 a.m. Sept. 5, first Saturday, VFW Post 474, 3811 W. Okmulgee Ave. Cost: $5, adults; $3, children under 12. Menu: Pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, coffee or juice, milk. Proceeds benefit the comfort items for the VA Medical Center veterans and families.

BENEFIT DINNER FOR PRUET/TRAPP FAMILY, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 13, Runt’s Bar-B-Q. It is $5 for a chopped beef sandwich, chips, drink and dessert. Call for tickets or just come by. On Aug. 11, the home of Rachael Pruet-Trapp and Eric Trapp burned. They family had no insurance on the home. There is an account set up at Armstrong Bank in Tahlequah for donations. Menu: Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, buckwheat pancakes, coffee, milk and juice. Proceeds directly support local Disabled American Veterans and their families.

MUSKOGEE NOON LIONS CLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT, noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 25, Muskogee Country Club.

BLUE STAR MOTHERS GREEN COUNTRY CHAPTER 12 BENEFIT DINNER, hosted by Order of the Eastern Star Muskogee Hope Chapter, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 25, Muskogee Masonic Temple, 121 S. Sixth St. Menu: Spaghetti with meatballs and sauce, garlic bread, salad, desserts and drinks. Cost: $7, adults; $3, child. Proceeds will help this Blue Star Chapter continue efforts to provide service men and women with basic comforts from home.
