CHRISTIAN COFFEEHOUSE, 8 to 11 p.m. Fridays, Ark of Faith, 401 E. Broadway. Refreshments and fellowship with a set time for audience participation. Audience participation includes sharing a song, poem, dance or skit. Summer schedule: Aug. 20, Alaina Tyson and Friends will present a praise dance evening, with refreshments by First United Methodist Women’s Group. Veterans will be honored as well. CHEROKEE BASKETS — HISTORY WOVEN IN ART, through Aug. 19, Cherokee Heritage Center is located at 21192 S. Keeler Drive, Park Hill. The exhibit presents the history of Cherokee basket weaving and features numerous baskets including one that survived the Trail of Tears, as well as baskets of contemporary design. BACK-TO-SCHOOL FASHION SHOW, 2 p.m. July 28, Arrowhead Mall, Dillards court. The first 100 customers who present mall receipts totaling at least $100 from that day’s purchases will receive a free back pack from the customer service counter.

ZIP-N-SIP, noon to 4 p.m. July 28, The Canebrake, four miles east of Wagoner off Oklahoma 51. Ride the zip line then retire to the lounge for your choice of a flight of beer, red wine, white wine or a dessert. Cost: $50 per person, which includes tax and tip.

THIRD ANNUAL WATERLOOP TRAIL RUN, 6 p.m., Aug. 11, Honor Heights Park. One mile fun run/walk, 5k run, and 10k run, with water stations and surprises on the course to cool runners off. Sign up in person at Muskogee Parks and Recreation or by mail. All proceeds benefit Women Who Care and Women In Safe Homes. FIFTH ANNUAL RIVER RUMBA, Aug. 24-25, Three Forks Harbor. Event starts 6:30 p.m. Aug. 24 with a parade of boats and harbor party, featuring live music from Infinity from 8 to 10 p.m. Registration starts at 9 a.m. Aug. 25 with races starting at 10 a.m. Free cardboard can be picked up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation office, 837 E. 27TH ANNUAL BIKE MS OKLAHOMA: THE MOTHER ROAD RIDE, Sept. 15-16, Tulsa. Cost: $25 until mid-May, when the fee increases to $50. The ride starts in Tulsa and ends in Oklahoma City. Information: www.bikemsok.org.
