DANCE CLASSES, tap, ballet, acrobatics, hip-hop, adult jazz and tap classes and couples adult ballroom classes, Cockle’s Dance Studio, 407 N. York St. Cost: $30 per month. Information: 684-7250.

SENIOR ADULT TAP CLASS, 55 years or older, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays, Tip Tap Toe Dance Studio, 1613 E. Okmulgee Ave. Instructor: Francie Martin. Information: 680-0360.

FREE CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH COURSES, 7 to 9 p.m. Fridays for eight weeks, Christian Chapel, 4043 Chandler Road. Classes taught by a Jose Gonzalez, Indian Capital Technology Center Spanish instructor. The course is free; however, students are responsible for purchasing their book. Information: 441-6646.

FRISCO DEPOT’S MUSIC EMPORIUM, 10 to 11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Sept. 4 and Sept. 18, held the first and third Saturdays, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, 401 S. Third St. Join Professor Rappe for a fun, silly, hands-on musical adventure. Cost: $5. A child ages 4 to 12 will learn music appreciation, music theory, sing and dance, and do arts and crafts. MVSKOKE CREEK LANGUAGE CLASS, 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 7 for beginners and intermediate classes for adults; and Sept. 9 for elementary through 12th grade for Challenge Bowl, 111 S. Virginia St. Instructor: John “Porky” Scott. Information: 682-6912.

GUITAR LESSONS with blues musician Selby Minner, 5 to 6 p.m. Thursdays, Muskogee Public Library. Classes begin Sept. 9 and continue for eight weeks. Minner will teach skills such as confidence to perform in front of your peers, working together as a group, decision making and performance skills. ENGLISH SECOND LANGUAGE CLASSES, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Muskogee Public Library. Individual classes are offered, day and time to be set when enrolled with a tutor. Information: Penny Chastain, Adult Literacy coordinator, 682-6657.

MCCOYS DUI SCHOOL, 6 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 9 to 11, 4009 Eufaula St. It is a 10-hour ADSAC class schedule. Information: 682-2841 between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.

LINE DANCE CLASS, 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Hatbox Dance Building, 530 S. 40th St. Cost is $2. It is open to beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. Information: 683-3572 or 203-2459.

BELLY DANCE CLASSES, 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Muskogee Swim and Fitness Center. It is free for members, but non-members can pay $5. Instructor: Eve Whitney-Newton.

CERAMICS WORKSHOP with instructor Barbara Moore, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 25 and Oct. 9, Muskogee Art Guild, 315 Court St. Clay projects will be modeled in the Sept. 25 class, then dried and fired in a kiln. Artists will then return on Oct. 9 for staining and glazing the fired pieces.
