ALL BLACK TOWNS OF OKLAHOMA EXHIBIT, through Nov. 8, Three Rivers Museum, 220 Elgin St., Oklahoma’s all-Black towns epitomize the unique African American history of the Sooner State. From the mid-19th century to 1920 African Americans settled more than 50 identifiable towns and communities. With 15 large, full-color graphic panels the “All-Black Towns of Oklahoma” traveling exhibit celebrates the history of those All-Black towns that still exist. This exhibit is courtesy of the Oklahoma History Center of the Oklahoma Historical Society and Three Rivers Museum.
