GLASS BEAD JEWELRY CLASS, 9 a.m. Fridays, Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center, 119 Spaulding Blvd. Instructor is Terri Hutson. Sign up for each week by Wednesday. Earring kits are $2.50 each and bracelet kits are $5 each. Call the center by Wednesday to tell the color of beads you would like for your kit. Information: 684-6310.

FRISCO DEPOT’S MUSIC EMPORIUM, 10 to 11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 20 and April 3, held the first and third Saturdays, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, 401 S. Third St. Join Professor Rappe for a fun, silly, hands-on musical adventure. Cost: $5. A child ages 4 to 12 will learn music appreciation, music theory, sing and dance, and do arts and crafts. DANCE CLASSES, tap, ballet, acrobatics, hip-hop, adult jazz and tap classes and couples adult ballroom classes, Cockle’s Dance Studio, 407 N. York St. Cost: $30 per month. Information: 684-7250.

FREE CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH COURSES, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Fridays for eight weeks, for beginners, Christian Chapel, 4043 Chandler Road. Classes taught by a college Spanish instructor. Tuition is free; however, students are responsible for purchasing their book. Information: 441-6646.

CARDIO BOOT CAMP, open to men and women of all ages and fitness levels working at your own pace, 7 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and 6 to 6:30 Wednesday, Fort Gibson Middle school gym, north entrance, 500 S. DOUBLE WALL BASKET CLASSES, 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays for six weeks, North Education Building, 500 S. Ross, Fort Gibson. Victor Wildcat will provide his expertise in basket making from beginning to end. You will leave class with a basket. Cost: $25 plus you will need one roll of No. 2 reed. (1.75 cm or 1.50 cm) Information: 478-4034.

QUILTING CLASS ON THE DISAPPEARING NINE PATCH QUILT TOP, 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center, 119 Spaulding Blvd. The class will be taught by volunteer Faye Deane Boydstun. The first session will be consultation so you will not need to bring your sewing machine or anything else. Boydstun will give you a list during the first session on what you will need to bring the following week. Class size is limited. To enroll, call 684-6310.

GUITAR LESSONS WITH SELBY MINNER, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays for eight weeks, except for the first two weeks of March which will be held at the same time on Wednesdays, Muskogee Public Library. Minner will teach beginning guitar lessons to students of all ages free. Students bring their own guitar and will learn a basic blues progression. Information: Liz Hanley, 682-6657, Ext. 232.

ENGLISH SECOND LANGUAGE CLASSES, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Muskogee Public Library. Individual classes are offered, day and time to be set when enrolled with a tutor. Information: Penny Chastain, Adult Literacy coordinator, 682-6657.

BELLY DANCE CLASSES, 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Muskogee Swim and Fitness Center. It is free for members, but non-members can pay $5. Instructor: Eve Whitney-Newton.

STEVE BELEU, expert government document librarian from Oklahoma Department of Libraries, 1 to 4 p.m. March 25, Muskogee Public Library. Learn how to use the federal Web sites that contain information about American Indians. This is a three-hour workshop. RSVP is necessary. Class size is limited to 10 participants, but if more sign-up a morning session will be added. Classes are free.

NEW LINE DANCE CLASS begins April 8 and continues from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Hatbox Dance Building, 530 S. 40th St. Cost is $2. It is open to beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. Information: 683-3572 or 203-2459.
