ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DAV BENEFIT BREAKFAST, 7 to 10 a.m., third Saturday of the month, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, 4815 W. Okmulgee Ave. Cost: $5, adults; $2, children under 12. Menu: Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, coffee, milk and juice. Proceeds directly support local Disabled American Veterans and their families.

GARAGE SALE, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 29-30, First Christian Church, 415 Northeast Second St., Wagoner. Proceeds will benefit Wagoner Education Foundation’s Grants to Classroom Teachers and Scholarship programs. Items to be offered will include books, novels, paperbacks, desktop computers, laptop computers, VHS Video tapes, audio books, and other items. The Wagoner Education Foundation will accept donations of garage sale items from the public. Clothing or car engines will not be accepted. The Wagoner Education Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(C)3 tax-exempt organization. Receipts for donations will be given to donors. 2ND ANNUAL SADLER ARTS ACADEMY GARAGE SALE, sunup to 2 p.m. June 30, Three Rivers Museum. Proceeds will benefit the seventh- and eighth-grade trip, Celebrating Oklahoma One Mile at a Time. During the trip students will visit important Oklahoma landmarks such as Sod House, Black Mesa, Chickasaw Heritage Center, and Spiro Mound.

ODDFELLOW PANCAKE BREAKFAST, 7 to 11 a.m. June 30, Oddfellow Lodge, 1 1/4 miles south of Wagoner on Oklahoma 16. Serving pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy and drinks. Cost: $5 adults, $3 children.

BURGERS AND ICE CREAM, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 30, Porum Landing Fire Station, 5 1/2 miles west of Porum on Texanna Road. Proceeds benefit the volunteer fire department.

GARAGE SALE, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 30, Okay. Booths are $20. Information: 9918) 687-6585. Proceeds benefit Okay Community Events.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST, 7 to 11 a.m. June 30, Blackgum Community Building, located 2 1/3 miles west of McQuicks on Oklahoma 100. Cost: $6 adults, $5 children. Proceeds benefit Blackgum Fire Department.

FREEDOM HAS A NAME — BROOKE SIDES, 12:30 to 3 p.m. July 1 at Honor Heights Park. Cookout fundraiser for Brooke Sides, a local student who just underwent her 30th radiation treatment, sponsored by New Hope Baptist Church. Inflatables, hamburgers, hot dogs and snow cones. A volleyball tournament also will be held Cost: $5 per person for wristbands, which give all day access. Families of four or more are $20. Donations also accepted. KICK UP YOUR HEELS, Aug. 25, Oriental Masonic Lodge, 8 a.m., 6th and Boston streets. There is a $10 minimum sponsorship to walk. Event is a fundraiser for WISH to raise awareness of domestic violence. Men across the community will be asked to put on their high heels and walk in a fight to end domestic violence. Prizes: Top Fundraising Individual, Top Fundraising Team, Largest Team Walking, along with many other awards including best decorated shoe. Information: (918) 682-7879.
