LOVE AND RESPECT FOR MARRIED COUPLES, 6 to 7:15 p.m., Aug. 1-29, Ark of Faith, 401 E. Broadway. Having any difficulty communicating with your spouse or fiancé? Notice how men and women don’t think alike? Dr. Emerson and Sarah Eggerichs present this marriage conference. It is done on DVD. Garry and Sally Weiesnbach will mentor the class. They received this training from Boulevard Christian Church. Classes are free if a five-week commitment is made. Reservations and information: (918) 682-8411.

DARE TO DREAM WORKSHOP, offering workshops for kids throughout the summer. One day to two week workshops are available. Class sizes are limited and prices range from $5 to $50. Dare to Dream is a nonprofit organization that helps children enjoy life and advance their knowledge base in a number of areas. Workshops include: Mad science, art and crafts, balloon modeling, invention (create your own invention), business workshop, jewelry making, visual journaling, and creative writing. CONQUERING CO-DEPENDENCY CLASSES will be lead by Gary Weiesnbach with two assistants. Time and dates to be established around participants’ need. Must register by calling (918) 682-8411 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

ADULT BALLROOM CLASSES, 6 p.m. Fridays, Cockle’s Dance Studio, 407 N. York St. Learn swing, waltz, fox-trot and Latin dancing. Cost: $45 monthly, per couple. Information: 684-7250.

AIKIDO FOR TEENS, 5:45 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, Muskogee Teen Center. For teens in grades 7-12. Sensei Read Omohundro, a second degree black belt in Aikido martial arts will conduct classes each Tuesday and Thursday. Enrollment is open to male and female students. Aikido places emphasis on motion and the dynamics of movement and balance to neutralize the aggressor’s force. Sweats or other comfortable dress required. FREE ADDICTIONS PROGRAM, 7 p.m. Fridays, Liberty Baptist Temple, 821 Gibson St. Free to all. Program for all who are addicted to drugs, gambling, alcohol, cigarettes, immorality and more. Information: (918) 682-9999.

HIP HOP CLASSES, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Teen Center, 322 Callahan St. Enroll for fall classes. There are beginner and intermediate levels. The Teen Center is open to any area youth in the seventh to 12th grade from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. There is no charge. Information: (918) 684-6344.

GED CLASSES, 9 a.m .to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 5:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, Arrowhead Mall next to BancFirst. The free classes are sponsored by Union Public Schools of Tulsa. Information: (918) 681-4199.

BELLY DANCE CLASSES, 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Muskogee Swim and Fitness Center. It is free for members, but non-members can pay $5. Instructor: Eve Whitney-Newton.
