OKLAHOMA CITY —
A Salina man and a Tulsan have been killed in separate motorcycle accidents.
Tulsa police say 23-year-old Dustin Walling's motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck that was pulling out of a fast-food restaurant parking lot about 9:05 a.m. Sunday.
By the time officers arrived, the motorcycle was on fire. Walling, who wasn't wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
In Mayes County, Salina resident Idess Scroggins died of massive injuries in an accident south of Langley on Oklahoma 82.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Scroggins was driving south on the highway when his motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road and struck a tree.
Authorities believe the accident happened late Saturday, but he wasn't found until Sunday afternoon.
