LAKE EUFALA —
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a boat involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Lake Eufaula has been found.
Troopers said Monday that the boat was located in a slip at the Cook Creek marina.
On Saturday, the Oklahoma Lake Patrol said 38-year-old Greg Scherff of Oklahoma City was killed and six others were injured when one boat struck another that was stopped in the water.
The OHP said that, after locating the boat that had hit the other, a search warrant was obtained and the boat was seized.
Troopers said the boat apparently had two occupants when it struck the idle craft, and neither was injured. The OHP said its report will be turned over to the McIntosh County DA's office on Tuesday.
