OKC police recruit dies after training accident

— OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City police say a recruit who was injured in a training accident Friday has died.

Police said Sunday that the trainee underwent surgery after the accident.

The Oklahoman reported that officials were still trying to notify the recruit's family. The trainee's name wasn't released.
