BLUE, Okla. (AP) — A Bennington man was killed when one of the tires of his pickup truck blew out, causing his vehicle to roll on U.S. 70 in Bryan County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 50-year-old Terry Lynn Curtis sustained multiple injuries and died at the scene of the accident about 9:20 a.m. Wednesday.
According to the patrol, Curtis was traveling east on the highway in the rain when the rear right tire of the truck blew out. The truck left the road, hitting a concrete embankment and rolled onto the driver's side.
Troopers say Curtis wasn't wearing a seat belt.
