OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City police are investigating the city's 66th homicide of the year after a teen was shot at an east-side apartment.
Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow says officers responding to a call about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday found 16-year-old Herendez Daniel Prieto bleeding from a gunshot wound on the front porch of an apartment. Wardlow says Prieto was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died Wednesday morning.
Police say Prieto was seated in his vehicle in the apartment complex when someone walked up to the car and shot him. They say he managed to crawl to a nearby apartment.
Wardlow says investigators have no suspect or motive in the killing.
