PAWHUSKA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a Ponca City woman was killed when her vehicle collided with a semi-truck on U.S. 60 in Osage County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 78-year-old Margaret Miller died at a Ponca City hospital of head and internal injuries following the accident about 1:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Troopers say Miller's vehicle was at a stop sign on a county road facing northbound U.S. 60 when she drove into the intersection as the truck was driving west on the highway.
The truck's driver, 52-year-old Wilfred Waggoner, wasn't hurt.
Troopers say occupants of both vehicles were wearing seat belts.
