ALTUS, Okla. (AP) — A Jackson County judge has ordered an Altus woman to stand trial for felony murder in the May shooting death of man during a robbery.
After a preliminary hearing on Monday, Judge Brad Leverett ruled there was sufficient evidence to hold 34-year-old Michelle Calvert on charges of felony murder and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Prosecutors allege Calvert helped arrange the robbery and shooting death of 34-year-old Hai Phan at an Altus apartment complex.
A telephone message left Tuesday for Calvert's attorney was not immediately returned.
Four co-defendants in the case were bound over for trial earlier this month.
