TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa fire officials say a man has died from injuries he sustained in a fire.
Crews responded about 9:30 a.m. Friday to a blaze at a south Tulsa residence. Fire Capt. Bill French says when firefighters arrived, they found evidence that the fire already was out.
Fifty-five-year-old Billy Martin McCoy received CPR in the backyard from firefighters before he was transported to Hillcrest Medical Center in critical condition.
French says McCoy later died at the hospital.
