M.E.: Man found in burned car had been strangled
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — The state Medical Examiner's office says a man whose body was found inside the trunk of a burned vehicle in northeast Norman died from asphixial strangulation.
Medical Examiner spokeswoman Cherokee Ballard says the man has been identified as 46-year-old Julian Ramirez Cazarez of Oklahoma City.
Cazarez's body was found on Sunday morning. His death is considered a homicide.
Norman Police Master Officer Jennifer Newell says Cazarez was reported as a missing person to Oklahoma City police on Monday.
