OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma County judge has denied bail for a doctor who was arrested in the stabbing death of his 9-year-old son.
Stephen Paul Wolf lowered his head Wednesday morning during a video appearance before Special Judge Russell Hall. Wolf hasn't been formally charged.
Police have alleged that Wolf fatally stabbed his son, Tommy, and cut his wife at their home in Nichols Hills on Monday morning.
According to an arrest affidavit, Wolf repeatedly told the police officer who stopped the attack that his son had "the devil in him."
Hall told Wolf that police will file a report with the district attorney's office, which will then determine what charge is filed.
Wolf's attorney, Mack Martin, declined comment.
