NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a body has been found inside the trunk of a burning car in Norman.
Police say a 911 caller reported the burning car near Lake Thunderbird at about 4:45 a.m. Sunday. Norman police say firefighters found the body in the trunk once the blaze was extinguished.
Officials are investigating the death as a homicide, and the victim's identity has not been determined.
Norman police say they won't release more details under an autopsy is performed.
