TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a Tulsa woman has been killed in a collision on Interstate 244 in Tulsa County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Rachelle L. Hudson died of head and internal injuries at the scene of the accident about 5:40 p.m. Thursday.
Troopers say the car in which Hudson was riding was headed east on I-244 when it struck an eastbound pickup truck in the rear. The patrol is investigating the accident.
The car's driver, Heath Hendrickson, was treated for minor injuries at a Tulsa hospital and released. The driver of the truck, Craig Boatman, was treated at the scene for a minor injury and released.
The patrol says no one in the car was wearing a seat belt.
