TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Police in Tulsa say a 31-year-old man wanted in a deadly shooting outside a taco stand has been arrested in St. Louis.
Detectives say Luis Alberto Mendoza was arrested Monday on immigration charges and Tulsa police will be going to St. Louis as part of their investigation.
Mendoza was wanted in the early Monday morning shooting death of 20-year-old Erik Victorino in the parking lot of an east Tulsa convenience store. Investigators say witnesses told police Victorino was among a group of people in the parking lot when a pickup truck pulled up and an argument started before someone in the truck opened fire.
