TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police are looking for a 31-year-old man in connection with an early morning shooting outside a taco stand.
Police say 20-year-old Erik Victorino was shot in the back about 2:30 a.m. Monday and died later at a Tulsa hospital.
Investigators say witnesses told police the victim was with a group of people in the parking lot of an east Tulsa convenience store when a blue Ford pickup stopped. The witnesses say there was an argument and a passenger in the truck pulled out a gun and opened fire.
Police say they are searching for 31-year-old Luis Alberto Mendoza as a "person of interest" in the shooting.
