TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Police say they found a badly beaten man lying in the street who was pronounced dead when emergency medical personnel arrived Sunday.
The man's name was not released by police Sunday.
Tulsa Police Department Capt. Karen Tipler said officers were sent to a location in north Tulsa where neighbors had reported a man lying in the street. Tipler says the officers found a 47-year-old man who was bloody and had suffered blunt trauma to the head and chest.
Police said they had not determined how the man was beaten.
