TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police are looking for suspects in the death of a 41-year-old man.
Police say the body of David Michael Jackson was discovered in east Tulsa early Saturday. Officers say Jackson was known to frequent apartment complexes in the area.
Capt. Karen Tipler says Jackson sustained a single gunshot wound to the torso from a small handgun.
Witnesses told authorities that they saw Jackson walking about 5:15 a.m. as they passed him in their vehicle.
However, witnesses say that when the vehicle returned to the area 15 minutes later, they found him dead.
Police are continuing to investigate.
