GUTHRIE, Okla. (AP) — Two jailers at the Logan County jail have been arrested on charges of raping a female inmate in her cell.
Rahmel Jefferies and Alexander Mendez each face two counts of rape and two counts of sodomy.
Court documents say both have admitted going into the woman's cell on Oct. 9 and having sex with her. The documents did not indicate whether the men have attorneys.
Both men have surrendered and are being held on $20,000 bond.
