SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — A 29-year-old Oklahoma man has pleaded guilty in Missouri to traveling across state lines to have sex with a person he believed was a 13-year-old girl.
Robert Dean Graef, of Tulsa, admitted Wednesday that he chatted online in April with a person he thought was a young girl. Instead, he was talking to an undercover officer with the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, who arranged to meet Graef at a Carthage, Mo., cemetery.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says officers who arrested Graef at the cemetery on April 17 found a loaded .40-caliber Glock pistol in his car. They also found duct tape, black plastic zip ties fashioned into handcuffs, a pair of handcuffs and more than 60 rounds of ammunition.
Graef is facing a sentence of 10 years to life in prison without parole.
