BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) — A man facing an assault complaint in the shooting and wounding of another man in Copan has surrendered to Washington County sheriff's deputies.
Undersheriff Steve Johnson says 29-year-old Joshua Still is being held in the Thursday morning shooting of 38-year-old Justin Ernest following a fight. Still is accused of assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm after former conviction.
Silver says Ernest told deputies he met Still regarding an ongoing dispute and the two fought before Still went to his car and got a gun.
The sheriff says Ernest was shot twice in the stomach and once in the chest. His condition was not released.
