SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) — A Meeker man has been killed in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 177 northwest of Shawnee.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 86-year-old Otis Laverne Dawson died in the crash just before 11 p.m. Sunday.
Troopers say Dawson was northbound when his pickup truck crossed the center line and crashed into a southbound car.
The driver of the second car is hospitalized in stable condition and two passengers were treated and released.
