NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Prosecutors in Norman have filed first-degree murder charges against a man accused of drowning a 2-year-old girl.
Donald Reeser is accused of drowning Allie Croom at Lake Stanely Draper near the dam on the south side of the lake on June 18. Charges were filed Friday in Cleveland County.
Reeser pleaded guilty in 2006 in Oklahoma County on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for repeatedly attacking a girlfriend with a paintball gun. He was given a five-year deferred sentence and ordered to complete anger management and psychiatric counseling.
