TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A Tulsa County judge has ordered three people to stand trial in connection with a methamphetamine lab fire that killed a man and damaged two apartment units.
Special Judge Allen Klein ruled yesterday there was enough evidence to order Amber Ketcher, Christopher Stinson and Bobby Warren to stand trial on a felony murder charge.
Prosecutors have accused the three of causing the March 30th blaze at Comanche Park Apartments that fatally injured Ketcher's husband, Sean Ketcher.
Amber Ketcher, Stinson and Warren also are charged with first-degree arson and manufacturing a controlled drug. Amber Ketcher also faces three counts of child endangerment because her children were in the apartment when the fire erupted.
Prosecutors say Stinson came to the apartment with a chemistry set, and he and Sean Ketcher made a batch of meth.
Police say Stinson told officers the fire started when Sean Ketcher then turned toward the doorway and a propane torch sparked some nearby chemicals.
