SAPULPA, Okla. (AP) — A Sapulpa woman accused of dumping her newborn son in a trash bin in downtown Sapulpa has been released from jail.
Creek County prosecutors charged 30-year-old Kristina R. Blackburn with child abuse for allegedly disposing of the baby May 24th.
Blackburn was arrested June 4 after DNA tests between herself and the baby showed a match. She had been in the Creek County Jail since her arrest, with bail set at $100,000.
District Judge Richard Woolery on Tuesday reduced her bail to $75,000. Blackburn's parents, family members and friends attended the proceeding.
Blackburn will have to under house arrest at either her mother's or father's homes, she must wear an ankle monitor, and she had to surrender her driver's license and passport.
She faces an Aug. 26 preliminary hearing.
The baby is in good condition in foster care.
