TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a man for the shooting death of a teenager in Tulsa.
Police say 19-year-old Quandrae Deon Harding was arrested on Saturday and booked into the Tulsa Jail in connection with Friday's killing of 17-year-old Johnathan Starks Jr.
According to an arrest report, Starks had been involved in a disturbance with his neighbors earlier in the day and was entering his north Tulsa home Friday night.
Harding allegedly approached the gate leading to the front yard of the residence and fired several shots at Starks and then fled the scene. Starks was transported to the hospital where he died from gunshot wounds.
The report says Harding was identified by several witnesses as the shooter.
