STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — A suspended Stillwater police officer who's charged with raping a 15-year-old girl allegedly told a colleague he planned to marry the girl.
Court documents say 48-year-old Louis "Buck" Morris told a fellow officer that he and the girl had fondled each other
The documents also say Morris said he thought he'd lose his job and hoped he didn't have to go to prison, but "he had done this to himself."
Morris has been suspended without pay and is free on $25,000 bail after being charged with two felony counts of rape by instrumentation. He's also charged with three counts of lewd acts with a minor younger than 16.
