STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Baseball-sized hail has fallen in Stillwater as strong thunderstorms moved through the area.
City emergency management director Rob Hill says the hail damaged roofs and broke car windows Friday morning before the storm moved out of the area.
No injuries were reported.
He said wind speeds of 50 miles per hour came with the storm and the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 3 p.m.
The watch includes Payne, Lincoln, east central Oklahoma and Seminole counties in central Oklahoma. A watch is also in effect for Hughes County in southeast Oklahoma.
