TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities in Creek County say a man wanted in a double homicide near Bristow nearly three years ago has been arrested in Nashville, Tenn.
Officials say U.S. marshals found 23-year-old Adam Roberts living with a relative and arrested him Wednesday morning. He was charged in 2006 with two counts of first-degree murder, robbery, arson and conspiracy.
Investigators say Roberts and three other men broke into the home of 37-year-old Cassandra Morris on April 7, 2006, and shot Morris to death then set her home on fire. The four then went across the road where they shot and killed 57-year-old Kenneth Taylor because they apparently thought he witnessed the crime.
The other three men have been convicted and are in prison.
