OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A former Edmond firefighter has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.
U.S. Attorney John Richter says 40-year-old Micah Dwight Weaver of Chandler pleaded guilty Wednesday to possession of pornographic photos of children under age 8 on his computer.
Richter says Weaver faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine when he's sentenced in about 90 days.
Weaver had been with the Edmond Fire Department since 2000 before retiring in February as a major.
He remains free on unsecured bond and his attorney says Weaver is in counseling.
