BOLEY, Okla. (AP) — Police say an inmate who escaped from the John Lilley Correctional Center in Boley has been recaptured.
Authorities say 22-year-old Kenneth Smith was found along U.S. Highway 62 about a mile from the prison early Tuesday morning.
He escaped sometime after 9 p.m. Monday.
Prison officials say they're still trying to determine how Smith escaped.
