OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma County jury has convicted a man of murder for the stabbing death of a prostitute in 1983.
The jury convicted 60-year-old Tim Alex Forbes of killing Tammy Gastineau and recommended a sentence of life without parole.
Forbes was charged in the case in 2007 after DNA evidence linked him to the crime.
Gastineau's body was found on a lot owned by The Oklahoma Publishing Co. where Forbes worked as a loading dock supervisor.
