FOX, Okla. (AP) — A Springer man has died after being thrown from his pickup during a one-car crash in Carter County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Randall Dewayne Crowder died after the crash about 6:30 p.m. Sunday just south of Fox.
The patrol says Crowder was southbound on Oklahoma 76 when his pickup ran off the road, crashed into a ditch and rolled. Crowder was partially thrown from a window and died at the scene.
The patrol says Crowder was not wearing his seat belt and that alcohol and excessive speed may have been factors in the crash.
