BROKEN ARROW — Police in Broken Arrow have arrested a suspect in the fatal hit and run of a pedestrian.
Authorities said Saturday that 43-year-old Robert Wallace Pitcher of Broken Arrow was killed when he was struck late Friday night.
Police said investigators arrested 24-year-old Christopher Lee Lange of Coweta, who was allegedly driving the vehicle.
Investigators said the vehicle involved was likely a Chevrolet S-10 pickup or Blazer that was damaged in the collision. Broken Arrow police say Lange was driving an S-10 that had damage consistent with the fatal crash.
The accident is still under investigation.
