TIAWAH, Okla. (AP) — An Afton man has been killed in a head-on collision on State Highway 88 near the town of Tiawah — south of Claremore.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 54-year-old David Blanton died in the crash just before 3:15 p.m. Thursday.
Troopers say Blanton was northbound when his car crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming sport utility vehicle.
The driver of the SUV is hospitalized in Tulsa in stable condition.
