Creeks give $75,000 for business incubator

OKMULGEE (AP) — A corrected version of the story is below:

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation in Oklahoma is donating $75,000 to the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center Network support small business development by tribal business owners.

The gift is intended to help with training and technical assistance such as helping develop business plans, loan requests and help in site selection.

OSBDC director Bill Carter said the goal is to give those with ideas for a small business the incentive to go ahead with their plan.

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation in Oklahoma has its headquarters in Okmulgee.
