OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City police have arrested a man for allegedly dousing the mother of his children with gasoline and setting her on fire.
Officers also alleged that 34-year-old George Rodriguez set fire to the woman's home while her children, ages 3, 7 and 10, were inside about 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Police Capt. Patrick Stewart says the woman suffered third-degree burns on 30 to 40 percent of her body and was taken to Integris Baptist Medical Center. Her condition wasn't released.
A jailer at the Oklahoma County jail says Rodriguez was being held without bond on complaints of arson, burglary, destruction of property, maiming and domestic abuse.
The jailer said she didn't know if Rodriguez had an attorney.
