TULSA (AP) — A fired Tulsa jailer has been charged with having sex with an inmate at the jail.
Former jailer Chris Delt was charged Tuesday with forcible sodomy. Jail records do not show him in custody as of Wednesday morning.
Sheriff's Sgt. Shannon Clark says Delt was fired after an investigation that began when an inmate claimed he had sex with Delt.
State law prohibits sex between inmates and those who supervise them.
