— OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Authorities say a man has been arrested on second-degree murder complaints after his pickup collided with another vehicle in northwestern Oklahoma City.
Eric Bowman was hospitalized after police found him in a field following the accident around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. An Oklahoma County jailer said Sunday he had been booked into the jail, but records didn't indicate whether he had called an attorney.
Officers allege Bowman drove a truck that was going about 100 mph when it collided with a sport utility vehicle that was leaving a convenience store parking lot. The crash killed Joshua Wright, 35, and Tammy Long, 42.
The SUV hit a traffic light pole, which fell and clipped a high-pressure natural gas line. Some residents were without service until the damage was repaired.
