OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City police say a motorist whose vehicle went off a bridge and onto an embankment at Lake Overholser has died.
Officers received a call about 12:15 p.m. Monday that the victim had crashed a car through a fence on the caller's property before heading toward the lake.
The vehicle continued onto walking and bicycle trails and off the Old Route 66 bridge near N.W. 39 Street and Canal Road.
Police say it's not immediately clear if anyone else was in the car or was hurt.
The victim's name wasn't released.
