KINGSTON, Okla. (AP) — A 64-year-old man from Granbury, Texas, has drowned in Lake Texoma.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Ronald Ross Griffin drowned at about 4 p.m. on Sunday about 25 yards from the shore in about 10 feet of water in Marshall County.
Troopers say Griffin last was seen walking down the lake's shoreline and that he told others he was going across to another island. He was not using a flotation device.
Griffin's body was recovered about 5:15 p.m.
